Located near the Pew Campus of Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan lies the Gerald R. Ford. The museum is in memoriam for the 38th president of the United States. Funds for the construction of the museum were from over 14,000 individual donations through the efforts of the then president’s Commemorative Committee.

The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids is a 54,000 square foot educational and cultural facility, located in downtown Great Rapids, Michigan, The setting provides space for meetings, receptions, or dinner parties. The Museum has a 15,000 square foot permanent exhibit with a 3,500 square foot changing gallery.
Museum Main Lobby is an expansive main lobby that has an exceptional setting for dinners, special public addresses as well as receptions.
The 250-seat auditorium, complete with stage and audio/visual equipment can accommodate symposiums, cultural events, awards ceremonies, musical performances, and others. Capacity is up to 254 people.

Volunteers
The Museum is accepting a limited number of college interns to assist with the processing, preservation, and digitization of museum holdings. The Padnos Museum Internship Program is providing necessary skills to students who need to attain a certain level of marketability in the field. Nearly twenty years of operation, the program has provided lasting experiences and opportunities for students from all over the country.
