Named after the American aviator Roger B. Chafee as part of the Public Museum of Grand Rapids. Constructed during the early 60s, the facility features a 30- foot plaster dome and mechanical star projector.

Hear lion roars, wolves howling and birds screeching as you search for fantastic and elusive creatures hiding within the nighttime sky. Plays daily from 11 am now through November 23, Starlight Safari lets you explore the stars within a live presenter in this unique globetrotting adventure with your family, only at the Chaffee Planetarium.
