Grand Rapids Children’s Museum

The Grand Rapids Children’s Museum gives children the opportunity to have fun while learning by providing interactive, hands-on experience that encouraged self-directed exploration. The one and only children’s museum that is dedicated to providing an environment for play in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They also advocate the value of play and builds mind through play.

Guest Information

All guests ages 2 and up are required to wear face masks throughout their whole stay in the museum. Masks should be worn regardless of the guest’s vaccination status. Everyone must follow the safety requirements, as no exceptions will be made.

Guest Responsibilities

Providing safe spaces that are free from the COVID-19 virus is our top priority so the management is also expecting guests to follow their protocols to ensure the safety of all guests and staff. Guests must wash their hands frequently and utilize hand sanitizer upon the entrance and exit of the museum. Guests are highly encouraged to play within their pod. Everyone must abide by the checking up of temperatures upon entrance. If you are feeling unwell or have had direct contact with a COVID-positive individual, please stay at home.

GRCM’s Programs

GRCM provides daily programs such as member-only playtime every Tuesday from 9 am to 2 pm. This is an exclusive time for members to come play at the museum and enjoy special programming. EZ Grand Rapids Junk Removal

Their daily program changes every day, from messy art to story time, there is always something new to offer.

Toddler time is special programming established specifically for the little hands, ages 3 below. Create music, enjoy sensory play, make art and so much more.

Young ones who have little artist hands are encouraged to join their open paint program and let them unleash the artists in them.

Imagination laboratory is where kids can explore mud, discover cloud dough, examine slimes and enjoy water play, and more. Let them experience the fun in science.

The sensory environment is a special low-sensory program with dimmed lighting, quiet music, calming activities, and cozy spaces.
